The Northern Plains Cancer Coalition (NPCC) is a volunteer group of a wide variety of individuals that have an interest and stake in Native American cancer control and prevention for the tribes of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. The Northern Plains Comprehensive Cancer Control (CCC) Program staff help organize and facilitate the NPCC.

The Coalition is committed to enhancing and increasing the quality of life and survivorship of cancer for Native Americans in the Northern Plains by providing a forum for input, advocacy, education, collaboration, planning, and action along the cancer control continuum.

NPCC members meet by conference call and in-person to create and implement a Cancer Control Plan for the Native American population in the Northern Plains. Members review information about cancer, share existing program efforts, determine collaborative activities, and identify and implement cancer prevention and control strategies.
